Everything You Need to Know About This Year's Fair
The Midwest's Largest Charity Book Fair

The 2025 fair will be at Queeny Park: 550 Weidman Rd, Manchester, MO 63011. Follow the main road through the park until you hit Queeny Park Rink, and you'll see the fair. The fair runs from 5/1/24 to 5/4/24.

General Admission is $15 on Thursday. To reserve your place in line, opening night line bracelets will be available for purchase from 8 am - 3:30 pm on Thursday, May 1st. There are 200 bracelets available, and they are $25 each. Admission is FREE Friday through Sunday.

Payment options for admission and all items purchased include cash, check, or credit card (Mastercard & VISA accepted).

Non-Profit Day on Sunday afternoon is closed to the public and limited to pre-registered 501(c)(3) organizations. The full, detailed schedule will be posted here in advance of the fair.

What You'll Find

The Greater St. Louis Book Fair sells hardback and paperback books, plus records, CDs, DVDs, comics and ephemera. Many of these items can be purchased for prices as low as a couple of dollars!

Rare Books and Ephemera

Collectibles

We have hundreds of especially rare and collectible items in the Collector's Corner section at the fair. Our inventory includes first editions, limited editions, out of print editions, signed copies and other treasures. All such items are sold on a first come first serve basis, and prices vary.

Non-Profit Day

At the end of the fair, pre-registered 501(c)(3) organizations are invited to browse our remaining inventory, taking whatever they want for their organizations, all for free.

Policies at the Fair

Book fair patrons are expected to abide by the following policies:

  • Patrons may begin lining up at 8 am on opening day.
  • Patrons are limited to one shopping cart at a time.
  • Cart contents can be reserved at the secure reserve, large purchase area.
  • All reserved items will be boxed & sealed until payment is received.
  • All reserved items must be paid for & removed by closing time of that day.
  • We are not responsible for protecting or securing items stored for patrons after a sale.
  • Unattended boxes or carts will be resorted and restocked.
  • Electronic scanners/book purchasing lists may be utilized at book tables only; books may not be scooped up and removed from tables for scanning.
  • Patrons purchasing rare and collectible merchandise must remain at the purchase counter while their items are being pulled from the display cases. Request lists will not be fulfilled unless the interested patron is present.
  • Numbered line bracelets go on sale for $25 each from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023. No limit to the number of bracelets one individual may purchase.
