SOLD: Signed, Limited Edition of Ernest Hemingway's A Farewll to Arms

$6,000 was the winning bid for a signed, limited edition of Ernest Hemingway's A Farewll to Arms, sold at Ivey-Selkirk Auctioneers' Spring Gallery. All proceeds benefitted The Greater St. Louis Book Fair.

Published in 1929 by Charles Scribner's Sons, New York, this extremely rare book was a fine copy of Hemingway's only signed and limited edition.

  • blue-green boards with ivory vellum spine with black morocco spine title label, pages with untrimmed edges
  • complete with slip case with stylized leaf motif and orange label "limited edition No. 21".
