Hermann Gets a Taste of Book Fair

On Saturday, September 12th, Greater St. Louis Book Fair participated in Hermann, Missouri's annual Country Fair, sponsored by the Dierberg Educational Foundation.

In keeping with the event's pastoral theme, a large antique wagon bed was filled with books on special-interest topics such as cooking, decorating and gardening. A small selection of fiction and children's books was also available.

"We wanted people outside of St. Louis to get a small taste of the new and used books we have to offer." said volunteer Lisa Merenda. "Fairgoers enjoyed seeing the interesting items we have in our inventory. Many said they would like to attend our giant book sale in St. Louis next Spring."
